 Contractors or External Parties for Calibrations procedure: 

External parties may be allowed to handle the setting on the device. 
Evaluation of external party capabilities in order to provide calibration service should be verified before using them for devices calibration. 
Certification of customer's history, competence and experience of the technical personnel, calibration standards and standard instruments that the company will follow. 
The official quality agreement should be replaced with all external settings agencies for mastering and slave instrumentation. 
The use of external agency's arrangement / methodology is reviewed for plant staff approval. However, the procedures and standards used to define these policies should be documented along with calibrations. 
Plant crew should verify each setting of such an external agency. 
Required Master Standards Certificates, Treasury Reporting Reports and Certification of Doug's Employees. Instruments for califration of external agencies / laboratories may be sent;
